Quadrophenia

“I’m One” from the epic masterpiece Quadrophenia. As a tremendous Who fan I have to say that if you think Tommy is better than Quadrophenia then you are listening to music wrong.

Changes

I just converted this blog from one blogging system (Serendipity) to another (WordPress) – the reasons are many and I may write more about that in a future post but I wanted to just let you all know as things are obviously a bit different.

A couple of notes:

I did lose a bunch of your comments during the migration. I really hate that it happened and am going to try to continue to fix it.

This isn’t the final design of the site, it’s just the default for now until I do a redesign.

I had wanted to do this for a bit but the process seemed overwhelming. I found a script that was supposed to help ease the migration and noticed that the author also was available to do it via contract so I went that route instead. If you have a Serendipity blog that you want migrated to wordpress I recommend getting in touch with Abdussamad over at abdussamad.com – he was great to work with and it was really quite reasonable considering the trouble I would have created trying to do it myself.

Hoping this leads to more regular posting here.

First Impression – Port of Morrow

Running through Port of Morrow today, the new release from The Shins. It might change with repeated listens but so far it is like watching an episode of Law & Order I have seen a billion times. It’s there and playing, but I don’t really need to pay attention because nothing really interesting is happening.

It’s not bad. It just isn’t grabbing me.

Thinking Out Loud
