In 1993, NPR anchor Liane Hansen traveled to Memphis and the museum, and she spoke with the Rev. Samuel "Billy" Kyles, at whose home Dr. King had planned to eat dinner that evening.

The audio is now available via NPR and is an amazing listen.

9 years ago this evening Gina and I experienced our first Gov't Mule show. There have been many more (approx 20) since then but, as they say, you never forget your first time.



Stellar show with a great set list including some amazing covers. It was also the only show we saw with original bassist Allen Woody.

I have some nice legally taped copies to share - leave a comment if you are interested and I'll send a couple out to the first takers.
