My huge super secret project was launched on Saturday. It's live but I'm not quite ready to share it yet.. remind me next week and you can see what has been keeping me from My Thermos.
As I have been working today, Gina was making her homemade bread just a room away. It is in the oven now and smells just heavenly. Clicky on the linky for a look, it's all you're going to get...
Nat from Mini-Obs features the outstanding yet staggeringly unappreciated Steve Forbert in her Friday Flashback. Nat's blog is one of my favorites as not only is there a great love of classics that we both share, but I also get a ton of new music tips from her.
Not quite sure how I happened upon Jonathan Beckett but I have enjoyed his writing in various online spots. He recently set up a more permanent home over at Cheese and Beans which I recommend. His Books to Read is a good place to start, both as an intro and well, for some books to read.
I seem to be getting a lot more connections on Facebook recently. I'm not really a fan of a lot of the apps and various virtual stuff that people send to me, but it has been nice to reconnect with some old friends and I'm enjoying keeping in touch with people that I never thought I would encounter again. I keep my friends there limited to folks I've had actual real contact with, but if you know me and are also there - find me and we can connect.
I have more to say but the bread is done - and it's hot.
